 Your presentation was maya. Maya in our language is the same as mooditj (excellent or very good) in your Nyungar language.

 … this unit has opened my eyes and my heart to the plight of the Aboriginal people and the wrong doings against them by the dominant society.  My role as a parent, teacher and community member has been reinforced because of this unit.  Aboriginal people are constantly struggling and fighting for what is rightfully theirs.

 Simon Forrest did a terrific job and you can tell he’s a trained teacher.

 …I too have appreciated the approach Simon adopted for the delivery of information…a more human element added.

 … I now feel very privileged to have learnt so many different things about the Indigenous people of Australia. Looking back, I realise now that I was so very unaware of the 'real' history of Australia and how the Aboriginal people have had to struggle for survival in a world that seemed determined to destroy them.

 … I think we mainstream Australians could learn a lot from Indigenous Australian people, in the way that they value the environment around them, families and communities.
